My Greatest Asset
I got to say I have the best spouse. She is amazing. We have been working in the gym together to become healthier to live better and more productive lives. She trains so hard and inspires me to continue. I see her struggle with some lifts but she doesn’t give up. She pushes through the physical pain. She shows strong mental focus and endurance to complete lifts. This inspires me to do the same when I lift. When in the past I would have just given up, now I use her mental fortitude to push me for greater gains in the gym. She truly is my greatest help.
The bible calls our wives helpers and it's a worthy calling. Without her I would not be complete because she helps me to be the best version of myself. You know who else is called a helper in the scriptures? Holy Spirit. He is called a helper. And in some ways wives are just as he is. The Spirit guides us and motivates us. He shares in our sufferings and is with us in our joys. He gives strength and transforms us to be the person we are meant to be. In the past I used to make jokes with friends about how our wives are the Holy Spirit sometimes. The funny thing is, it is not far from the truth. Holy Spirit uses our helpers as a means to help us. Sometimes I’m hard headed and don’t want to listen, but I know the truth. So if you are a wife reading this. We appreciate you and your effort to make us better. We know that you aid us to maturity mentally, physically, and spiritually. Continue to do what you do and we will try and guide you with leadership to do the same. If you’re a husband reading this, thank your spouse. Let her know your appreciation and that she is seen in her work to love and enable you to be the best you. And Holy Spirit, we thank you for your guidance through our wives so that you can transform us to the image of the son Jesus.
